Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What an amazing wee place Frances has here, we were looking at it from the outside, when the owner of the house came to the door and asked us in to see her narrow house.

We were very lucky as we had gone to the Round Island Cafe and discovered the Wedge was having an open day - apparently the first time it had been open to the public. It was quite amazing to see inside as it's genuinely wedge shaped with a very narrow frontage opening out at the rear. Well worth the visit!

The narrowest house in the world is certainly a novelty and worth a look as you walk past. As that is all you can do, I’m not really sure how it can be considered an “attraction”.
I don’t know if the owner has ever considered allowing people to view the interior, which would certainly be interesting.

This is one for the tick list of those who love the idea of the smallest, largest, highest etc.
It's very easy to miss unless you know it is there. To be honest, there isn't a lot to get excited about, which is probably a reflection of how few 'tourist attractions' there are on Cumbrae..

If you blinked you'd miss it! To find it, look for the board The Wedge located along the High Street.
