Came to Edward's to try out the steak recommended to us by a friend and we were not disappointed. Cooked to perfection, the food was delicious and enjoyed by the whole family. Kids catered for too with half portions. A friendly service by Edward and Nicole and when we are in Millport, we will definitely come back again.

Went for dinner on Saturday at 1630 25/09/201, originally tried booking for 1700 but they were fully booked, which is normally a good sign. We arrived to find someone doing the ironing in the main restaurant and another two ladies dragging tables around, the place was empty with the exception of some locals watching the golf in the bar area. We sat down to have a look at the menu, my wife was missing a few pages from her menu, so we shared mine. By the looks of things there was only 5 options for a main; steak,fish,chicken salad,burger or fish & chips. We were approached by the waitress who was clearly training on the job, we asked to order some drinks, but were told we had to go to the bar, which seemed odd, nevertheless I went to the empty bar and rang the bell, one of the ladies from the main restaurant came through and served my drinks, Which I carried back to the table. We both ordered the burgers, and were asked by the waitress “how we would like them done?” Which threw me a little. I now wish I had answered cooked through, as my burger was dripping with blood & grease. The kids hotdogs and chips went down a treat with the & the hot chocolate fudge cake was a huge hit. The restaurant & bar has only recently been taken over and I wish the new owners well. For me the evening menu had to few a options, I have eating here many times in the past, and for me the old menu was far superior to what is getting served up now.
