What a way to end our amazing weekend by cycling around the Island. Great fun, would highly recommend. We were in Largs for a family wedding and came over on our last day and decided to hire out the bikes. We hired out the electric bikes and we had so much fun.

We visited Santas grotto with our six year old granddaughter this year. She was so excited to see Santa and his elves. The grotto was beautifully decorated and magical and Santa took his time asking all about herself and not rushing us at all. It was a wonderful visit. Everyone had made such a special effort. And the icing on the cake was a lovely letter from Santa delivered to her door a few days later. Mapes of Millport thank you for making a little girl very happy. 🥰

Great bikes and great service. Arrived at the shop and registered really quickly. All 3 bikes (including 1 electric) were ready to go straight away with instructions given about the bikes. It’s not the first time I’ve rented from Mapes and won’t be the last

Efficiently dealing with a lot of people on a sunny Saturday the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Small problems were dealt with without demur and it was cheap too. The island is a joy to cycle round and the bikes were top class.

At 61 id never cycled twice round the island so decided it was time i did it! Lots of choice of bikes so hired an e bike and went round twice, so pleased!!! Staff in shop friendly and knowledgeable, speedy process to hire, and looking forward to my next time

As always Mapes provided a great service it a tradition in my family that this is where we hire our bikes. The owner also gave me £10 towards the charity we were cycling for. Thank you and as big Arnie says, "we'll be back!"

Decided on the mini quad for 2 adults and one 5 year old. Great bike rental place with friendly knowledgeable staff. Not an easy ride but great fun and a good way to see the island. I would certainly recommend and hope to be back again before too long.
