The path is plenty wide enough for bicycles and pedestrians. I walked two dogs there and we all found it delightful. Beautiful falls leaves turning colors, the running river. It is mostly flat and an easy path. There are multiple places to sit down if...More

We enjoyed a lovely walk down the trail that hugs the Yampa River. It was quiet with some runners, bikers, and walkers passing by. The fall colors where out and the foliage was stunning! Highly recommend a visit!

This was nice for a bike ride but was a little overrated in our opinion. Really just a sidewalk but was okay.

Well kept paved train paralleling the yampa river in downtown steamboat—beautiful wildflowers—restroom facilities at the end near the skate park—water fountains at the library

This trail is especially suited to families and bikers who are most comfortable on safe, wide trails with no traffic. Great planning!

We rented bikes (nice that they have stepthrough bikes) at Ski Haus which has supremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the trail. We passed by the botanic gardens and lovely views. Would definitely recommend!

Great biking path with lots of easy access points and beautiful scenery all along the way. The ride follows the Yampa River and goes from one end of Steamboat to the other. We are a couple in our 70's and other than needing to pause...More

My family and I biked this trail numerous times during our stay in Steamboat. It's very scenic along the river with plenty of other sites along the way.

Yes. Much of it is cleared. I wore YakTrax when I ran it, though.

We rented from Ski Haus. Easy access to the trail and not far from the Botanical Gardens. Be sure to use the coupon found in the Steamboat Guide. Available for free in many stores, hotels and fast food places.
