What a lovely walk it is an easy walk so anyone can do it and the water is so clean. We just loved Steamboat Springs such a beautiful place. We actually got caught in a hail storm as we got back to the car.

This is a truly wonderful trail for all ages and physical conditions. It is right next to the river, paved, with easy grades, benches, and multiple access points. You can walk, run, or bike. It is the role model of an urban trail.

We enjoyed a lovely walk down the trail that hugs the Yampa River. It was quiet with some runners, bikers, and walkers passing by. The fall colors where out and the foliage was stunning! Highly recommend a visit!

This was nice for a bike ride but was a little overrated in our opinion. Really just a sidewalk but was okay.

This trail is especially suited to families and bikers who are most comfortable on safe, wide trails with no traffic. Great planning!

Yes. Much of it is cleared. I wore YakTrax when I ran it, though.

We rented from Ski Haus. Easy access to the trail and not far from the Botanical Gardens. Be sure to use the coupon found in the Steamboat Guide. Available for free in many stores, hotels and fast food places.
