Our Glenwood Gondola includes 44 detachable, six-passenger cabins with trips up the mountain averaging 7-8 minutes instead of the 12-13 minutes as in the past. We are located in historic Glenwood Springs, Colorado and offer a unique mountain-top adventure that's fun for the whole family. Some rides are seasonal; a list of which attractions are open can be found on our website. Great for groups, family reunions and birthday parties. Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park was a fun experience for my family!
It was well worth the price - especially when compared to the $150/person to go on top of Vail mountain. We spent around 6 hours in the park and enjoyed short lines on almost every ride. Even the Alpine coaster only had a 20 minute wait. Ride operators were friendly, we enjoyed a nice lunch, and found the entire experience to be wonderful. I would highly recommend and will come back again!

Fabulous amusement park on top of a mountain. Absolutely stunning setting, and adds to the thrill of the rollercoasters. We loved the Alpine Coaster where you can choose the speed you go (the only downside is if someone in front of you is slower than you want to go), but you get fabulous views as you whizz down it.
Lots of adrenaline rides that take you over the edge of the mountain, wasn't expecting it on the swings, so that was an experience. Plenty to keep you occupied and having fun. It was a good visit on a weekday when it was relatively quiet.
The Gondola Ride up and down was also fabulous for views.
Would recommend visiting the caves, and doing those tours, the guides are really funny and knowledgable as they take you through the caves. There can be a wait to go into them but it never seemed that long.
Knocked one star off as they are really limited on vegetarian options, so it was hard to find something to eat.

This fun town had a lot of entertainment to offer. From hikes, to hot springs, to caves, to the Adventure Park on the top of a mountain, everything was reasonably priced and dining around the area was excellent. People were very friendly and the rides at the Adventure Park were well-maintained and their focus was always "safety first". The place we stayed, Glenwood Springs Cedar Lodge was clean, but you did have to drive a short distance to the attractions. We will definitely be going back again!

Our family of four, including my wife and our two toddlers, had a great time at Glenwood Hot Springs. The Mountain View’s and relaxing ambiance set the tone for a relaxing getaway. The hot springs were a highlight for us all, offering a serene and therapeutic experience that catered to both adults and children.
Exploring the charming town of Glenwood further enhanced our trip, adding a touch of local flavor that we thoroughly enjoyed. The cozy streets, along with the delicious local cuisine, made our stay even more special.
With two little ones in tow, we appreciated the well-maintained facilities and services at Glenwood Hot Springs. The clean environment and various amenities provided a safe and enjoyable space for our kids to play and swim.

We really didn't know what to expect, the pictures looked fun, so we planned to spend a couple days in Glenwood Springs while planning a trip to Colorado. The park is unique, the rides are few, but still enough to keep my teens and adult kids entertained for most of the day. The cave tours really were nice and cool on a hot summer day. Not sure if we'll ever make it back, but it was definitely worth the excursion to get there.

The half day we spent at this park was one of the highlights of our holidays in Colorado. A half day is enough to try all the attractions at least once when it’s not too busy. Some of the attractions are world class, such as the swing over the canyon.

We had such a great time! The park is easy to get to, well organized, and the staff is friendly. We rarely waited for a ride. Defiance is a great roller coaster. Our son loved it so much, he rode it 7 times! The cavern tours were great too. I would definitely come back here.

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park was a lot of fun. We went to see the caves, walk around, see the views and have lunch. It was a great, little park. I'm so glad we took everyone's recommendations and tried it. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rides and the way the park was decorated made it even more fun to see. We spent close to 4 hours there.

I cannot express enough how much we loved this park and it's staff! Our family of 8, 6 adults and 2 kids, ages 1 and 5, spent a Friday afternoon and evening at the park. Nothing is cooler than swinging out over the canyon on the Canyon Flyer or the Giant Swing, then cooling off inside one of the two caves...what a unique experience! The food at the Smokehouse and Lookout Grill was really good and the covered patio just outside the Lookout Grill was relaxing and had fantastic views. Unfortunately, there was a little incident with my 5 year old grandson and we had to make a visit to the First-Aid building. The staff there was so thorough and kind. All was well and he got a free ice cream cone :) I was very impressed with the focus on safety on all of the rides. They double and triple check every aspect of your ride. There are large lockers, big enough for a backpack, just outside the main building that were perfect for storing our jackets that we brought for going in the cooler caves. You rent the key ($5) inside the gift shop and you can get in and out of it all day. There is free parking behind the Gondola building but we opted to pay $10 for closer parking just in front of the same building. I was surprised that the lines weren't long on a Friday and we were able to do everything we wanted at least once. Thank you to the cute ride operator that called us over to the Mine Wheel to watch the sunset, to the skilled and gentle First-Aid workers, to the kind dining room attendants in the Lookout Grill. You made our day!

We went yesterday during their “Winter on the Mountain” event. Arrived around 12:30pm and left around 6:45pm. Spent $203 for 3 adults, 1 child. Then spent $100 for 4 items to eat and 2 souvenir drinks and 1 souvenir hot cocoa. Rode the alpine coaster twice (which is a waste of time if you get stuck behind someone with their kid who rides the brakes all the way down which means they brake you because you’ll get too close to them), got into each cave. That was basically all we were able to do in 6 hours. Spent a lot of time waiting in line. I felt it was a lot of money for what we actually got to do. The money would have definitely been more worth it during warmer months where the rides are in operation, but for what it is during the winter months, before it snows, not worth it. One and done for us.

Technically, you can, but there is not a direct route to get to the park from there, it's a rather long walk, and you'd have to cross multiple busy roads along the way.

Yes, many rides had height requirements. The good news though is that you can take the gondola up and then upgrade your ticket up there.

I cant find any information on official website on when are the cave tours. Nobody answer the phone during the week. How am I supposed plan the day? What if it's a one time a day kinda deal and I'll miss it if I come late? It is it every hour? What if it's 1 time a day and too many people? What is the capacity? Is there a reservation? Also if park close on sunday at 5pm, does it mean I will not be able to see at all the light decoration? Since it's getting dark only at 4.45? So like 5 min of lights?

Both cave tours run all day until about 5pm. Every half hour or so. I've waited before and actually it's not long at all as the tour guide comes early to go over all rules. The tours are limited to 25 people and it's the perfect amount.
As far as the lights, yes, you won't see much if you go on a Sunday and it closes early. If you want to see them go a different day when it's open later.

Hello, we were planning on stopping by on our road trip Dec 14th. There is a good chance we will arrive no earlier than 6pm. Since the park open until 9pm I assume there are still things to do even though it will be dark already? We are not interested in rides but rather anything else

Last cave tour when we were there over Thanksgiving Weekend was at 7pm. Pretty at night as they have Christmas lights up. Not sure how late the Alpine slide runs but it is so much fun!
