We searched for quint wineries in Escondido to try on our way home back to Vista. We were very pleased to try Triple B. The gardens and oak trees are lovely. Watching the red-tailed hawks flying around and caring for the babies in her nest was amazing. The Merlot and Cab we drink were yummy and the grapes were on her estate. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the sights.

Excellent estate wines. Locally owned. Beautiful setting under large oak trees. Very peaceful and relaxing. It is family owned and ran. If you are looking for place in North San Diego county to do wine tasting and relax in beautiful surroundings this is the place.

This is a family owned winery that is worth stopping at. They wines are great, so is the port and the owners are very friendly. It is not much to look at when you get there but don't be put off. It would be a great place to have a picnic lunch outside.

This is a small family owned winery and the setting is cozy and inviting. The winery is a small40's or 50's bungalow amidst big beautiful old Live Oak Trees. They are open on weekends and one can just go there and sit at a table under the oaks with friends and either order a bottle of wine or pay for a glass of wine. You can bring your own lunch or snacks. The owner is very accommodating. The wines are also good and the interesting thing about this winery is that their grapes are grown in the area. Incidentally, this winery is located in Valley Center, which is located in North County, San Diego, Ca. Valley Center is a rural community with a lot of open land. With the exception of Woods Valley Homes, the homes in Valley Center must be on at least 2 acres of land. However, most of the homes are on much bigger acreage. A lot of the residents have horses.
