An adult only critter experience. (Children allowed only if they are sick and dying through Make a Wish Foundation). Carefully curated animal encounters where animals are allowed to interact with you. You do not approach the animals. Of course you do have some incentives such as treats. Once in a lifetime $$$$ experience with all proceeds going to the care of the animals. Squishy Armadillos, 2 toed Sloth, Capybaras, Kangaroos, Lemurs, Porcupines, River otters! I had a blast! Calendar for the next year opens in November online.

You will never have an experience like this. You get to interact and touch a wide variety of animals as the actually play with you. The staff is very knowledgeable and take the time to answer questions. They do not allow people under 18 years old.

I've been following Nurtured by Nature for some time now on Instagram. I fell in love with their mission. I've tried for years to get tickets and was so excited when I was finally able to. You must find out their ticket release date and order immediately on their website the day they are released. I couldn't believe I was able to secure a date. I flew all the way from New York and it was completely worth it. It exceeded my expectations and I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. I highly encourage everyone to research their mission and conservation efforts. This organization is doing amazing things. I had interactions with many different types of animals- armadillos, a sloth, a porcupine etc. The staff provided tons of knowledge and interesting facts about each animal. The staff was incredible. They make you feel right at home. You can tell they are dedicated to these animals and you don't feel rushed or like a business transaction. The otter swim was amazing. They are so interactive, fun, and entertaining. I will carry this experience with me for the rest of my life. It was incredible. You will not be disappointed. I am truly an animal lover and appreciate this organization for their hard work, conservation efforts, and advocating for these animals. Thank you Nurtured by Nature for this opportunity!!

This is the best experience I’ve ever had. We are blessed to have been able to do this. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves animals. I learned a lot and had so much fun! The animals are so well cared for and it’s a beautiful place to visit.

I was there this past weekend, and it was an incredible experience! I read the reviews on-here prior to going, and I truly understand why they are all 5 stars 👍 This place allows unprecedented access and interaction with its animals (many different, wonderful ones, not just otters), but they always keep the best-interests and safety of those animals as the top priority. Not only are you interacting with the animals, but the experience was highly educational as well. The Yates’ and their team are very well trained and fully answered everyone’s questions. My group (only 8, so very small groups which is nice) asked lots of good questions too, so again, it was a great learning experience to go along with the amazing feeling one gets when seeing/petting all the various animals...... highly recommend!! It is hard to get a reservation, but if you don’t get one when the calendar comes-out for the year, keep checking the site for the occasional cancellation, because that’s how I got to go this past weekend, so it does sometimes happen if you keep checking. The ‘finale’ is the otter-swim, and of course it was AMAZING, and we got to be in there with them for a full hour, so there was plenty of time to play with them and to get good pictures and video......it was such a great day, but they stressed that it is so much work to properly care for these animals - and they are definitely not pets - and that conservation of their natural environments is really the key to their future, so again, it was an awesome experience and lots of good learning/advice for animals enthusiasts 😀
