We came to this park twice on our trip and enjoyed it both times. Every peas very friendly. Our toddler loved the pump track and it was fun to see him get braver each time. I wish we had something like this where we live!

What a great place to visit and enjoy in Truckee. Ride down to the park and enjoy the views. Rent a bike and enjoy the jumps. Makes you feel you again, the hell with breaking old bones, LOL. Great place to spend time.

just watched all the bikers from toddlers to adults enjoying the lumps and bumps, the shaded paths and the obstacles of different levels. A great place to enjoy the day, and also picnic tables. Only thing lacking was a clean public bathroom, instead one of...More

If you are like me, you'll love LT. It is an active person's paradise. Beautiful, beautiful, scenery! Hard to beat the landscape beauty. Plenty of places to burn calories, biking, hiking, jogging, etc. The trails are to kill for-just the best. Can't wait to return.

This park started with a grassroots local effort and continues to grow. It's tucked between Highway 267, the Truckee River, and the sports park - a little hard to see from 267, but easily accessible from the highway, or (by bike!) from the paved Legacy...More

First, this attraction is FREE! Secondly, it has trails for a 2 year old and up, so everyone has a great time. Lastly, make sure your kids go to the bathroom on the way in, cause it's a bit of a walk back to the...More

I have had the opportunity to coach and ride at this bike park and it caters to such an incredibly wide range of skill levels and interests. The builders and riders are easy to talk to and the community they've built around the park itself...More

Truckee Bike Park is really cool. The guy who runs it is very passionate over cycling and has really developed a great bike park for all levels. My 14 year old rides there and so does my 4 year old. Very cool free activity.

This place is free and easy to find and has something for every age/ability! I enjoyed watching my son challenge himself, getting braver and better each run around the "little" park while also watching the pros on the bigger circuits/tracks. Great terrain, well maintained and...More

Last time I was there, no. There are shops in town though, some fairly near the park via the paved Legacy Trail along the river. I'd probably check first with Bike Truckee re: kids' bikes, 530-386-5700.
