Nice hike around Trinidad Head with pretty views. Beach is right there but we didn't go down to the water.

Recently, we travelled to Trinidad Beach. We took our 2 dogs, who had a good time in the sand and surf.

This is a wonderful Beach adjacent to the Trinidad Head Trail Loop. It generally does not get too crowded which is a plus and it's easy to get to without a hike. The scenery is a delight and the waves are generally well behaved. The sand is a plus since it is not a rocky beach as you'll find elsewhere along the Lost Coast such as in Shelter Cove. Depending on the tides, the rocky areas can afford a look as some creatures - always fun, especially if you are traveling with little ones.

Great stop, walk down to the pier, there is a nice little quiet beach that is small children friendly.

Worth a visit for great pics! Climb rock formations, deep luxurious sand, at low tide sneak a peak at the abundant sea life leaking their homes on the rocks. Nice beach for families, walking dogs, and surfers.
