Arrived mid morning on what felt like the hottest day of summer! Parking was at a premium and got our steps up by parking under a tree quite a distance from the market.
Was expecting more of a rural setting more like the Coatesville Markets so was surprised to find it in buildings and walking on stone chip.
Lots of lovely fresh produce on offer plus plenty of food options.
Best whitebait fritters !!! The fresh juice beside was nice too.
Pretty cool to sit on the hay bales to eat.
Market was good but was sorely in need of more shade, some gazebos or market umbrellas or even plant some more trees would just help.

We met with daughter and her hubby.

The market has lots of variety - pasties
$6.60 nice but a bit on the small size .

Blocks of soap $15.00 not wrapped nor gold plated nor overly big. Who would pay about $9.00 for lemons.

As I said great variety of produce etc but I seriously think a bit on the expensive side of the ledger.

The onsite musician was very good. Big crowd not sure if they were buying much. They were certainly looking.

Saw big dogs little dogs of all shapes and makes. All on leads and well behaved.

All In All an enjoyable morning.

Will go again maybe in a couple of years.

I am sure if the prices were more reasonable the stall holders would sell a lot more of their produce.

well, they go to Clevedon of course. The Farmer's market is one of my favorite things to do around Auckland. Only a 45 minute drive and you are there. There is normally some live music, plenty of animals for the kids to pet, and a little pony walk, sometimes there are alpaca's. Seating is hay-balls (square) spread over the place. We tend to try to find a pace to sit and then go get our food.. the bacon and egg bap is an old time favorite, with garlic mayo, the Chinese dumplings are good, the crepes, the pies.. OK, all the food is great. You can also buy a lot of nice, local produce, everything from flowers to wine, via eggs, avocado, honey and dukkah..the Dog-food stand looks worryingly appetizing too... Great fresh juices , dressed up as fancy cocktails..
I come back almost every Sunday when I am in NZ, and I still love it as much as the first time.
It is not the easiest with a stroller with small wheels,, best get a sport stroller or get them to walk.

There is ample parking at the venue. Do take a trip in to the village as well, a couple of nice shops there too, souvenirs cheaper than in Auckland.

Well laid out market with plenty places to sit and watch. Would have spent more time and money had it not been for the non-market prices. Vendors weren't really interested if you weren't buying and most people seemed to be there to be seen. I'm from Otago and the markets here have a friendlier feel and people are always up for a chat.

My friend had been talking about this market for a while and I decided to join her on a Sunday morning. It was great! Lots of open areas to sit on the grass or provided seating. Lots of different stalls to get food to enjoy on the spot, or to take home and cook. Great live music. You can also take your dogs!

The Clevedon Farmers Market, not to be confused with the Clevedon Village Market, is a brilliant way to spend a Sunday morning.

We drove to Clevedon along the coast from Maraetai and took in the beautiful coastline and views of Waiheke.

We went to the markets hungry with the intention of buying breakfast and few supplies for the week, and were not disappointed... so many delicious food options from all over the world AS WELL AS a great supply of meat and produce.

The stall holders are super friendly, and the live music really adds to the atmosphere.

Great farmers market with plenty of good, wholesome stores and a few good stalls for a brunch/breakfast.
Fresh vegetables, bakeries and a variety of similar stalls, no junk stalls.

A great place to have a picnic at the outdoors on a Sunday morning at Clevedon. However accessible only by car or cab. You can shop local farmers produce and artisans' products.

Really worth the trip. Lovely food stalls and produce. Pony rides for the tots and some live music to listen to when enjoying the gourmet food stalls.
