Large grassy areas, play areas, and views of the east bay. Lots of paths to explore and plenty of room for social distancing.

Big, beautiful and clean park on the San Leandro Marina. This park is a wonderful respite during COVID-19. Great walking paths along the coastline with exercise prompts along the way for the fitness-minded. People were maintaining social distance and many wearing masks, even on the paths. Clean restrooms (bring your own sanitizer though). I had to stay overnight in S. Leandro for spouse's medical procedure and was able to stretch my legs, get some exercise and sit and read for a while overlooking the bay in the shade of mature trees. Good for the soul.…

The grassy area is expansive. There's a very large dog park, outdoor excercise equipment, picnic tables and children's playground. The park has an amazing view of the San Francisco bay.

This park has grown over the years and has become very popular on weekends and holidays. There is lots of activity’s for kids and adults. Good fishing on the canal and shore. Mostly bat rays and striped bass. A large green for sports and music venues. There is no alcohol allowed. And is family friendly. Great BBQ areas for large and small gatherings. If you have children keep a close eye on them for it is completely surrounded by water. There is a small calm water lagoon for small boats and kayaks. For you who like to keep fit there is a fitness coarse. And if you are a dog lover a dog park and plenty of shoreline hiking with or without your pet. There are close by restaurants and hotel. There is boat docks but they are fazing the harbor out and will be part of the change when it is decided on what to do. For now it is still a wonderful site to sit and read or meditate. There are more activities left for your imagination or needs. So it is a nice place to visit. I go there 2 to 3 times a week.…
