Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The elegance of the tasting room, with its soaring ceilings, full view of the large (some are enormous) barrels, and the friendliness of the staff just cannot be beat. But it is the wines that will blow you away - each with its own crisp and clear identity - including the rose, which turned out to be my favorite. Not a mediocre wine in the bunch. The move to biodynamic practices has clearly paid off.

We don’t normally drink French style wines but I put this on the itinerary for our trip based on reviews and to step out of our comfort zone. We learned a lot at this stop and ended up buying two bottles. I enjoyed the story behind the vineyard, the wines, and overall the experience. I’m a fan and recommend for those looking for good wines that aren’t your normal go-to.

This was the first winery I stopped at on my first Paso Robles trip. I had heard good things about the wine and they have a history so I had high expectations even though I had never tried the wines. It ended up being a pretty good experience, not my favorite winery in Paso but still not bad.

The winery itself is placed well for growing grapes but not so well for visiting, it's at the farthest end of the windy road that gets you to most of the wineries in Paso Robles. Regardless, it's a nice location to sit an enjoy wine in. Our server was knowledgeable, and the wines were pretty good. I ended up taking home one red and one white, and spent $100 on two tastings and two bottles which isn't bad. I think their most interesting wine is the Espirit de Tablas Blanc which is a fragrant white with a baking spices heavy flavor.

We sat outside, and it's a rather casual setting (lots of families with kids). Some people brought their own food. There's a lot of wineries to try in Paso Robles, so I might not be back for a while, but it worth at least one visit.

Tablas Creek makes some of my favorite wines, so I knew I would enjoy the visit. I was not expecting such amazing service. Pixie was so incredibly knowledgeable and tailored the information to our interests. It really elevated the experience and was, without question, the best stop of any winery we visited. It didn’t feel like we were just another group- we felt welcomed and appreciated. I’d recommend Tablas Creek to anyone who is looking for more than just a casual tasting.

We hadn't been to Tablas Creek in 6 years, and it was exactly as we remembered it. The surroundings are beautiful and the wines extraordinary. Our group was taken care of perfectly. We sampled a mix of whites and reds. The standouts for us were the Cotes de Tablas GSM with Counoise, the Mourvedre, and the Esprit de Tablas GSM also with Counoise but different percentages than the Cotes de Tablas. If you're on the Westside of Paso Robles, please stop here. You won't be disappointed.

My tour group enjoyed the facility but the wines were a little disappointing overall. It's a very popular venue with quite a few visitors but our group felt that the tasting lacked a personal note even though our tasting guide was positive and knowledgeable. We prefer private tastings and thought that we had scheduled one.

Rumyn was a delightful host. She is also a POC which is rare in the wine business/industry. So I get super proud for those us few BIPOC and POC in the wine industry. So Kudos to Rumyn!

My partner and I loved Rumyn's casual approach to Tablas Creek Wine: Unpretentious. Subtle.Simple. Rumyn is very knowledgeable as well while simultaneously training someone. I appreciated having her to experience Tablas Creek Wine. I highly recommend the wine and requesting Rumyn as the host.

What a story, legacy, and find for beginners like us!! Very well run operation on all levels.......the way a vineyard should operate. If you want some legacy Rhone style juice and a great education, this is worth the effort.

Get your reservation and you can't go wrong. Pretty drive and nice view from the patio. Wines in the $30 - $80 range were all good; we joined the club. Very knowledgeable server and very flexible. Expect to spend 1 - 1.5 hours. WELL worth the $25 tasting fee.

Always enjoy the visit. My 2nd time and another nice host, happy to be trying their new tasting menu. We tried all three flights and they were all very good. We even got to try a couple that were not in the menu. Needless to say we walked out with more than we had planned, with so many different grape varieties.
