I’m not sure why air museums inspire me. I am not a pilot and don’t plan on learning. Never in the military but these planes and the human stories are inspiring. I was lucky enough to be there for a visiting B17 and watched it...More

The museum is a must see when in Palm Springs, very informative staff who made us feel very welcome. The highlight was the arrival of a B17 which we had a tour inside.

Typically I wouldn't choose an air museum to visit, but we had a free afternoon, so we checked it out. It was awesome! So many aircraft, helicopters and displays to view - up close. You could also go inside some of the aircrafts - gave...More

A nice mix of military planes and jets. Lots of knowledgeable people who love talking and explaining the history of each plane and it’s significance to the war efforts and American history. It was a lovely experience and I would go again.

It was our first visit and we truly enjoyed it. Large areas filled the planes and stories of military personnel and aircrafts sent into battles. Very well organized and the docents are very informative. Some of the aircraft are outside so on a hot day...More

Lots of very interesting history here as well as all the amazing planes. All of the docents are extremely knowledgeable and the place is huge. I don’t like the tire and engine smell.

What a great place to spend a day with the grand kids. Memorial day was awesome. Reviewing all the planes on static display is something to see. The flyover and the Carnation flower drop was a fitting tribute.

We rented a car near LAX. Sixt car rental. Drove to Palm Springs. Just a couple of hours on a Sunday. Saw the train station though.
