    Drivers are a no-show
I booked this ride for my daughter in college. Her first time away from home and coming home for the holidays. Went thru this ridiculous agency. I booked it and they confirmed it. The next day my daughter said the car didnt show. The airport is 55 minutes away from her college. The agency didnt even call her or myself to let us know they didnt have drivers. Their customer service as well didnt provide any solutions, other than refund my money. Meanwhile we were struggling to find someone on campus to give her a ride to make her flight. They use Uber and Lyft for their drivers, something I already tried and knew didnt work Ridiculous agency I would give them a negative rating if they had it.

Warning, Warning. Don't learn the lesson we and many others have.
This review is concerning the Jayride located in Miami Florida. We booked a shuttle for a trip to and from the Carnival Cruise port. Unknown to us, this is a third person company. They bookes us with two different limousine services. When we disembarked the ship at 8:30 am, we could not find our ride. Upon calling Jayride they informed us that our shuttle would not arrive until 11:30. So, we had to wait 3 hours in the heat until the shuttle arrived. Luckily for us we did make it to the airport on time. While we were waiting, we looked up Jayride and found to our disbelief all the negative reviews. Well, they lived up to all those complaints. If your smart you wont do what we did and booked with them.

    Driver
Hello, I am a driver who did two jobs with this company of December 2023. I still haven’t received the paycheck and every time when I ask for it, they give me the runaround, and now they completely started ignoring me Vivian has been giving me a hard time. Please do not use this transportation they don’t treat their drivers right.

    Appalling service from rude driver
Absolutely appalling service. We were told to ring a number when we were ready to be picked up, which we did. We were told that we would receive a text with the driver's details but we received a call instead telling us who the driver was and what the vehicle was. We went looking for the car but there were a lot of cars waiting and we couldn't see the one we wanted. We then received a call from the driver who just said he was at departures, which is where we were, but he couldn't say exactly where he was. Then he became very rude and said he couldn't wait long. I said that that he would have to help us find him but he just cut the call dead. I then tried to call the company again but there was no reply. So we went and got a taxi, which is what we should have done in the first place. Do not use!

    Awful Experience with Jayride/Britannia!
I’m currently writing this from the car on the way to the airport. Unfortunately we booked this service to pick us up from London Gatwick and also scheduled a return trip to airport. The first driver was 50 minutes late picking us up because of “traffic”. I understand there are extenuating circumstances at times but 50 minutes feels more like an unprepared driver than a traffic situation. The dispatcher was also not as responsive as I would have liked, typically took 5-10 minutes to answer questions (what is his eta?). The return trip home we arrived at our pickup spot on time and were told the driver was 20 minutes away. Unfortunately, we were on a schedule to arrive at the airport for our flight and couldn’t risk another 50 minute delay. We asked to cancel but of course they wouldn’t cancel, so we’ll be disputing this with our credit card company. On the plus side, we were able to grab a couple of cabs and the drivers couldn’t have been more accommodating :) If you’re in London, I’d suggest finding cabs for your transportation needs. They’re roomier than cabs in the US. We were able to fit 4 people and 4 suitcases in one. Do not book Jayride or Britannia!

Total Scam - please don’t support this service.
Would give us zero if I could. This service is a joke. I booked arrived for my brother who arrived from out of state and needed a ride to a hotel up by Carmel Indiana. I paid over $100 for a one-way trip from the airport to the hotel, and the driver never showed. Both my brother and I have attempted to communicate with Jayride, And have had no response. Zero. It has been three weeks. Please don’t use the service, it is not professional and frankly, I think it’s a scam.

    Be smart about airport shuttles
Flight was delayed so we got rebooked by the airline. Jayride policy is that a new flight number within 48 hours is not refundable, so not only did we not have a ride, but we paid for two. Would strongly recommend going with established shuttle/car services.

This service was absolutely ridiculous. What a scam. Basically, they are calling a Lyft ride for you. I did that all on my own the whole rest of my trip conveniently through the app. Additionally, this was the worst experience because I had clearly indicated we had 5 passengers with 5 pieces of luggage in my advance reservation and they sent me a car for 4 people. Then they wanted to send another car so our family rode in two different cars to our destination. Then they sent a van that finally worked. When I am paying 3 times the amount of what I would if I had called Lyft myself, I expect an extremely better experience. I also had to tip the driver myself. F Rating. I will tell all my friends and as much of the internet as possible to not EVER ever use this company.

Do not use Jayride in LA! This is my second review, the first time over thanksgiving we booked a car to take him from UCSB to LAX leaving 4
Hrs to drive the two hours trip for a flight.
They never showed up. We got him an Uber after repeatedly calling and texting. He missed his flight. They eventually refunded us with no apology.
Today I tried them again. They subcontract now at LAX and you just grab an Uber or Lyft but you are still paying for a nice car service. My car was super crappy and then the driver fell asleep as we were on the highway! We barely missed a truck. I freaked and had him leave me at a gas station. jayride claims I forfeited my trip! And I can’t file with Lyft because this was a subcontracted. I have to find an Uber at the gas station. And so now I’m out two costs for two cars from LAX to UCSB! They haven’t responded.
They are terrible!!! And they have no telephone number to call. Only texts they can ignore.

Honestly, don’t trust them. Ever. I have them two tries. They are a very poor company indeed.

LAX (JayRide) limo service to Indianapolis airport – driver (Gregory) half an hour late, I was about to drive – made it with 15 minutes before boarding
Ordered ride on August 13th from Terre Haute to Indianapolis – 65 miles – on Friday September 4th at 1:30 for a 4 pm flight
Friday September 4th – 10:30 confirmation text, give them a 20-30 minute notice when I’m ready – replied, I’ll be ready at 1:30
1:00 I texted that I’m ready to go (30 minutes before scheduled time) – “Thank you, we will inform shortly
1:36 (six minutes late!) – I sent “Update?”, followed five minutes later by “Anyone?”
Response – “a moment please”
1:46 (sixteen minutes late) – I texted “I need to leave now – my car or yours – or I will miss my flight.”
1:51 – finally a response! – “Your driver Gregory will be there in 10 mins”
My response – “And if I miss my flight? 2pm is drop dead. He’s here or I drive.”
Driver showed up at 2:02
I arrived at the airport 15 minutes before boarding and still had to go thru security.

I should have read the other reviews before booking the car service with Jayride.
With this first time deal with Jayride, we are VERY upset and disappointed with the experience we had. We booked a 5 persons van to meet us at Tokyo NRT. Stated on the contract that we had 5 luggages and 5 carry ons and 5 persons. The van has no space for all the luggages except a little space at the back which could hold 3 suitcases at most. He told us rudely that the company who sent him didn’t specify the details of our request. What were included in the order was stated clearly on the confirmation via email and text black and white. The company is called Jayride*Seikou in Japan if that could help consumers to identify better. Avoid them.

I booked a ride well in advance (2-3 weeks out) for a ride from the Gatwick Airport to a hotel in London with a pick up date and time for 8/28/24 at 4 pm. (Our flight landed at 3:30 pm so we wanted plenty of time to find the driver. We didn’t check any bags — had carry on bags only, )

I provided the flight number and airline name on the reservation. I received a written confirmation in a timely manner that it was confirmed for my date and time requested. The confirmation said to meet at the District and Circle lines. (We have never traveled to the UK so we had no idea those were tube lines in the city of London only. )

Once my spouse and I arrived at the Gatwick airport, we proceeded to find these lines and were told that those were in London. Surprisingly, we called the number provided, left messages with a dispatch and never spoke to the driver.

We were told that our pick up time was changed by them for 2 hours later than reserved. We waited for those hours. When the driver showed up, he mentioned that our time changed because of their schedule to pick up someone in the city of London.

What a rip off! Deserve a full refund.

I booked an airport transfer from Heathrow to St James Court Taj Hotel in London. Price quoted was for 4 passengers 4 checked bags and 2 golf bags and a meet and greet in the airport. Upon arrival I received a text to meet the driver in the parking garage. NO meet and greet. Once in the garage, the driver had a small mini van and knew nothing about the golf clubs. We barely fit in the vehicle. Horribly jammed in for an hour ride to the hotel. I received communication from Jayride that I needed to pay more for the golf bags. I refused. I booked and paid for all. I provided by booking confirmation. Then Jayride marked my entire trip as cancelled so I could not file for a refund!! They said I was a no show!! I provided communication of the conversation with the driver. I have photos in the car with the driver. They refuse everything. Absolutely the most horrible service I have ever encountered and false claims. Do NOT use this service in London. Horrific.

Jayride, more like JokeRide. After charging me $15 to pick me up for a flight, I got a notification that I was getting a Lyft ride. First of all, I can schedule my own Lyft for much cheaper. Why would someone call a phone number, wait on hold then talk for 5 minutes, when you can contact Lyft yourself? Anyway, I waited until my 5 minutes after my designated pickup time, called JokeRide, was put on hold, then told that they were still trying to find a driver. Sheesh. DO NOT rely on JokeRide. Just walk, hitchhike, jump on a bus, etc. All these methods would be much more reliable.

Late the night before our trip I got a text from my driver letting me know he would pick me up 3 hours after the agreed time. I tried to call Jayride and couldn't get an answer. Since I couldn't get an answer I cancelled the pickup. They refused to refund the money but after numerous calls they did agree to reverse the charges since I had proof of the text showing a pickup 3 hours later.

We booked an airport pickup at Queenstown, New Zealand. Upon arrival, we rang the phone number according to the instruction, but we couldn't get hold of anyone and ended up waiting in the cold for over 20 minutes, on hold and anxious. When eventually someone answered the phone, they simply just called a Uber (the Uber driver confirmed it). We could have called a Uber ourselves or could have jumped into a taxi without any of the hassle and waiting. Avoid this company!
