Recently cleaned up, interesting place to visit. Bathrooms need some help, but the lake itself is nice enough to walk. Lots of ducks and birds. People try to fish here, but I've yet to see anyone catch anything here.

My friend showed me around here when we had some time to kill. Looks like a nice place to visit for an after noon.

Walking around the lake is wonderful exercise and we like the others that are there with pets, riding bikes, and riding horses in the vicinity.

Professionally managed marine and landscaping at Laguna Lake? A "heaven" for residents and families since 1963.
I am still in awe of the historic trees with purple flowers, mountain bikers and water-conscious landscaped areas. Spectacular Jacaranda trees,100+year old towering Eucalyptus (South Side of Lake) and waterfowl made my ambulatory footslog heaven on a dirt trail. This year, the rape seed bloom has stalks rising a foot above my head. Fishing is allowed with permit. Restrooms have no working electricity---how efficient---and are an attribute of the original architecture from its opening in 1963. Recent area renovation added large boulders, wood bridges, flowing water features and photo worthy hillside landscaping. Locals, city neighbors and visitors enjoy Laguna Lake. Sunset at the lake is romantic largely attributed to melodic flowing water sounds, little warblers chirping and songbirds singing. This is fine for a leisurely stroll or a several mile endeavor can be had at the Juanita Cooke Trail for those who need a longer or shady/cool path during summer.…
