Because of the high surf couldn't really go down to the beach itself so we walked along the headland trails and had a wonderful time. Got some great pictures and we are researching the 2 hotels right next to Pudding Beach for future stays.

Plenty of motels within walking distance. Great spot to see the sunset and get a picture of the trestle. A lot tamer than it was back in the days when the cops had to roust drinking parties from the parking area, but still close enough to town to slip away discretely for a little R&R.…

We loved it here!!! Even though the water was ice cold we managed to spend the better part of Saturday afternoon with our kids frolicking in the shallow parts of the water, walking a bit to the side by the big rocks and cliff side to find little "caves" and just to enjoy nature at its humble but awe-inspiring simplicity. …
