The mountain is in the middle of Hasa oasis, surrounded by palm tree farms and villages. It is more of a hill like than a mountain. The climbing is accessable from everywhere for free, but the access to the main cave system is charged.

After a short drive from Al Hofuf town, through various masras (Farms)we reached Al Qarah Mountains. Great.....nothing more to add

Its too far from Riyadh( 3hrs driving one way) however it worth it. Its very close to Bahrain so I siggest you to visit it during your time in Bahrain. Amazing place and caves, consider 2-3 hrs of visit) better to visit during morning-afternoon. I...More

Qarah mountain is 30-35 minutes drive from Hofuf City. Visited today, huge caves beautiful and well maintained..an asset for Saudi Tourism Industry.

These caves are totally amazing and interesting to visit. They have been redone recently so they are easy to access and lovely. The only recommendation I would strongly give to management is to please provide information about the caves. The geology, when/how they were used....More

If you're in Saudi no need to book, once you reach the spot you can buy the ticket from counter. It's Sr50/- for adults and kids it's free. Don't carry any stuffs with you other than water as it may not have any use, and... More
