Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well if you haven't seen it yet, you are missing something spectacular. I might sound biased because my daughter was in the show but why not watch it for yourself. Experience the joy of walking down memory lane with the music of the 60s. This is such an incredible show. Don't take my word for it, it has been extended and for a good reason. Thumbs up and hands down to the performers of this show including my daughter Camie who is an understudy for Angela and first time performing at this theatre. Great thing about the set up of the theatre is there is no bad seat. Besides the performers are connecting with the audience from all sides of the stage Definitely, audience participation and if it not a good show, why do you think every show there is standing ovation. Watch and experience the music of the 60s again. Even a young person not familiar with the music is carried away with the wonderful rendition and blast from the past stories narrated at this show. Congrats to the producers, directors , singers, band and everyone in this production, staff and crew. I must say, excellent show overall.

FANTASTIC!!! We saw BASKERVILLE this past weekend and it was an amazing production with very talented actors. A true classy production and very well-done!
The theater is beautiful and the prices are very reasonable. A "must-do" for visitors to Coronado Island!

Noticed prior to my arrival, a play was being presented at this theater so I thought what better way to enjoy a vacation than to attend a local production. I am so glad I did. From the young lady at the box office to the ushers for the evening they were all joyful and enthusiastic and very helpful. There is not a bad seat in the house. The quality of the actors were amazing. Thoroughly delightful evening.

As a season ticket holder for many years I can honestly say this may be the best show they've ever done. As a small theatre every seat is a good seat. The talent; singing, dancing, acting, and instrumental is outstanding. See a show here, you won't be disappointed.

We are theater and film reviewers and travel writers who see each year more than 200 productions around the world. We were thrilled to find this long established venue to be a first-rate theater. It's a lovely drive and spectacular view via the Coronado Bridge. What a delightful playhouse, originally endowed by the philanthropic Spreckles family, whose name and generosity are familiar to San Diego. "Camping with Henry and Tom" was beautifully directed and well acted and we enjoyed a bite to eat and a glass of wine in the pleasant adjacent bistro. The house seats are nicely raked so everyone has a terrific sight line. No inferior seats even in the top row. "Noises Off" is on the Lamb's boards now, and getting raves. We saw the original London production -- a clever show about actors and the ardors of the profession, viewed both from back stage and what the audience sees on stage. We hope to take Lamb's production of it in before the end of a near sold-out run. Kudos for this treasure, Lamb's Players Theatre.

Just saw the dress rehearsal of "Les Mis" at the Lamb's Players Theatre and it was wonderful - right up there with the best plays we've seen on Broadway, the West End, or anywhere. The casting, production, singing, orchestra, and performances were wonderful. All this in a close up intimate theater setting. Get tickets now because it is sure to sell out. Make the evening even better by having dinner at Chez Loma a block away and have fine French cuisine at bargain prices with the Early Bird special.

I love Lambs Players Theater. I went on my first date with my wife to see a play there in 1982 when the theater was still located in National City. We have been ushering there off and on for many years and buy season tickets for our children. It is a wonderful and talented group of actors and directors and I have yet to see a bad play. Very intimate setting and there are no bad seats in the house. I highly recomend that you stop in and see a play next time you happen to be in Coronado California.

My wife and I went to a couple of Lamb’s productions last season and were impressed enough to buy a season package for the current season. Our first show of the season, Chaps, was well staged and very enjoyable. We had to change dates for our Mixtape tickets and were happy/impressed with how easy Lamb’s was to deal with on the exchange. Looking forward to the next two shows we will see. Can’t recommend this place any higher than 5 stars, or I would.

Music was great, touching story with a historical context of eastern European immigrants to Ireland, and how music was a bond to bridging relationships. Some unnecessary vulgar language straining to be authentic.
