Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were in town visiting friends and they brought us to Bogle as they're club members for awhile. It was an amazing experience! Our friends made a reservation for the picnic table area and it was beautiful. The wine was incredible and the view of the vineyard was awesome. We especially enjoyed the relaxing environment...not an overwhelming crowd...no kids running throughout the grounds. End up buying six bottles of various wines to take home.

My wife and I have visited on several occasions and our members of their wine club. On every visit we have been thoroughly impressed how this place gets it all right! Highly knowledgeable, platinum level service. Casual and inviting. It's been a few years, and we have heard many new improvements have been made, can't wait to get back. Highest recommendation!

Always a blast and great place to share with visiting family and friends. Just a short scenic drive south of Sacramento. Bogle wines are always consistent, and never disappoint. Both seasoned wine tasters, and those that are new to wines will love their wines.
The last few visits have been enhanced with Alain, one of their staff members. He is always friendly, professional and fun. (Easy on the eyes too) We look forward to coming back. :-) Excellent place to have a picnic too. Be sure to peep out their calendar of events.

This used to be a great place to go. Nice outdoor shaded area for picnics, kid friendly, and free tasting. I was even a club member for 2-3 years because it was such a pleasure to come visit. Over time the place has become less and less kid friendly (with pretty much everything off limits), and now they even have signs on the tables where you can't even nudge them a bit to stay in the shade. They used to give you free tastings for 3-4 wines so it was nice to try new things. Now it is $8 for the smallest portion I've ever had (1.5-2 oz) of their wines. Even Napa has more generous paid samplings. What used to be a tasty, chill, and fun place to be is now a run of the mill winery. Obviously they feel like they are now at the level of Napa. Thanks but no thanks, I'm out!

Love this winery! We have been wine club members for about a year now and always enjoy the quarterly trip to pick up our wines. Wine club is flexible in that you can swap wines, as long as what you swap costs as much or more than what you trade in. Their Chardonnay and Reverence red blend are our favorites. Children aren't allowed in the wine tasting room, but they have a very large picnic area, where children are welcome. Take a picnic lunch with you. This place can be pretty hectic and busy on weekends, so visit during the week if you can, or arrive early to get an outdoor table.

We found friendly people, relaxed setting, and reds that finished well. The reserves were especially good, but we bought the standard Petite Syrah. Oh, and you can get this wine almost anywhere, even Walmart.

I had assumed that Bogle was just a mass produced wine though was pleasantly surprised to find out they were not. They had had a great viognier, chardonnay that is not available at stores, and a pinot that I really liked...I don't typically like pinots.
They also have a beautiful vineyard with seating out back overlooking the vines. Great place!

And the wine is reasonable $ and very good. Nice river area setting for wine tasting and a few branded souvenirs.

My husband and I visit the winery once a month. We'll bring a lunch and plan a picnic. The wine tasting is free and the drive up there is beautiful. My personal favorite is the Phantom. After tasting we'll buy a bottle of our favorite wine and enjoy it with our lunch. Its a great place to just relax, bring the family or taste some great wine.

A great winery with a wonderful outdoor lawn & picnic area. Enjoy individual glasses of wine from the tasting room or buy a bottle of you favorite to pair with your picnic lunch.
