Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a beautiful beach with good picnic and amenities. The Kiosk restaurant serves a variety of food options. The waves can be tricky. Use caution in the surf as the waves can easily dump you. Port Beach may be a better option for young swimmers.

Clean, family beach. Best visited in the morning before the strong sea breeze comes at lunchtime and creates waves.

Beautiful stretch of beach. Calm ocean until the midday sea breeze comes in and then the waves build up.

This beach is great for families. It has nice white sand and the water is usually placid. It's not as crowded as nearby City Beach, which is better known, Floreat Beach is good for swimming. It's also popular with surfers.

Floreat Beach is a nice beach which has advantage of usually being uncrowded. It's next to City Beach, which is more popular. Floreat is an upper-crust suburb, which is part of Perth's exclusive Western Suburbs. There is a groyne at the south end of Floreat Beach. You can walk to Floreat Beach from the Cith Beach bus stop, it's around 1 km.

Located next to City Beach, really a continuation, its a nice beach area and we parked up for approx. 20 minutes to enjoy the views and activities on the beach. Nice grassed area and the boardwalk for the more energetic. The Surf Club dates to 1947 and has a kiosk with volleyball courts nearby. Lovely area to relax and a great place for beach enthusiasts.

Hale Road, adjoining Floreat Beach, has one of Perth's best dog beaches. There's lots of room for Fido to run and swim on the beach. Floreat Beach is around 2 km of pristine white sand. The groyne influences the wave formation. When the break is working, it's a favourite place for surfers and bodyboarders. There's also a boardwalk and grassed picnic area, and beach volleyball court. The beach is patrolled on weekends. Floreat may not be Perth's most famous beach, but it's one of the best, especially for families.

The place to relax. Floreat Beach offers miles of sand and sea to enjoy with active life guards on duty at the weekends. The Kiosk offers a great selection of light meals and refreshments. Just the place to relax and enjoy. Interesting birds fly by - so great for ornithologists also.
