Beautiful location. The beach is vast but the waves were very big . the sea was really rough. The little ermita built into the side of the rick was interesting. Not wheelchair accessible though.

We visited on a Thursday, out of main season and the local bar was not open. The beach is easily accessible but with limited parking spaces and has good paved paths to the bar, play area and the hermitage Santa Justa.

Great for a picnic or, as we did, just a rest from driving. Lovely views and very peaceful. Not sure I could find it again if I were back!

This cove has a small restaurant and lovely coastal walks. The beach is only suitable for walking on at low tides and due to the large waves we did not risk swimming at high tide.

Excellent, quaint village with quiet evenings. Medieval streets, architecture and great food. Visit the zoo and museum of Altimra too

We went to the Ermita at sunset (around 7PM), which coincided with high tide. It was really cool to see the waves hit the little house and the sound of the sea was beautiful. This made our visit, as the Ermita itself is pretty to...More
