Remote and (relatively) private, one of those places where the Cretans go. A pretty little beach, with a couple of bars right next door, and free parking (albeit some parking spaces occupied by horses!). Cheap food and drink / shade / loungers / beach (steep...More

It was very relaxing because of the quietness. One good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches in the northern part of the island. Almost calm water and very clean. Although the beach is not fine sand, but still, a...More

This blue flag fine pebble beach is a hidden gem. The clean and tidy beach plus the cleanest sea makes it a must for travellers. Their are 2 excellent tavernas just off the beach.

Lovely gravel beach with crystal waters, half for us naturists, half for the ones who prefer to use bathing suits. Excellent Galini tavern on the other end of the beach.

Love this beach. The sea is very clear here and there are sun beds on the beach. Not sure if there is a fee in high season but we were there in April and didn’t need to pay. There are beach bars and 2 tavernas.

A lovely small gravel beach with extremely clear waters. Just the correct length for a swim from one end to the other (ca. 1 km). A truly great taverna on the other end of the beach (Galini). The other end of the beach is for...More
