Fine example of non cave buildings around the Petra complex. Built in the post Nabataean era and worth a slight detour from the main road.

This is slightly off the main road and often missed. The church is worth the hike. the courtyard, the inside with the excellent condition mosaic floor. Once outside, it gives a good view of the Great Temple across the street.

Although this is a ruin you can still get a feel for what the church would have been like. The highlight here os course are the mosiacs.
