Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked the 3 days/2 night round trip tour from San Pedro de Atacama from the online platform "Denomades" which is a touristic aggregator. The agency on the ground ended up being CORDILLERA TRAVEL which is a great one, worth booking. The flats are simply amazing, the lagoons worth visiting as well as the thermal hot springs. Our chauffer guide dealt with everything very smoothly and the selected hotels were excellent. Worth staying at Palacio de Sal (I wish I was there 2 nights to enjoy the entire amenities and services). Be extremely careful with altitude as when approaching 4700 masl I had altitude sickness enough to saturate at 75% (ask for oxigen and don't waste time hesitating)

I met Olga after getting off the bus from La Paz. She explained the tour options and gave a good price. I chose the one day tour, but middle of the day I changed to 3 day tour as I realized how amazing this place is. The first day ended up being incredible, the driver was very helpful with taking pictures and videos. Then Olga arranged for me to join another group for the other 2 days (since I originally only asked for the 1 day tour). The two additional days ended up being great as well with a good driver and amazing group. That part was with Estrella del Sur company. Overall I really enjoyed my time in Uyuni and would recommend it to everyone. Of course, if you are looking for the perfect instagram picture that never happens because there are no clouds and you end up blaming the driver for that, then I guess you will have a hard time being happy in life.

Agency to avoid absolutely if you want to enjoy your trip and not be awfully disappointed.
You pay a great amount of money for visiting the country but this agency scams you; you see nothing of the landscapes because the driver doesnt care about the customers'expierience. They dont care of how important this trip is for you, even though you paid quite a lot for it; they just steal your money.

Honestly loved this trip, saw some breath taking views - might also be because of the altitude hah. The trip was easy to book, you stay in a salt hotel the first night (yes it’s made of salt) and you have to pay for the use of bathrooms the whole trip because it’s hard for them to get water to these places but most are like 3-5 bolivianos which is like 50 cents to a dollar. The second night you stay at a smaller place - the night sky there is fantastic but hard to shower with warm water if someone flushed - but that’s okay cause the next day you go to the hot springs and it’s amazing and so warm! The guide is great, he took photos and videos of all of us and explained everything about the people, places, legends, exports, etc. and the food was good too! Doable if you’re vegetarian like me, but not a lot of vegetarian protein as an FYI. I’d post more photos and videos but wasn’t able to :(

If you want a budget friendly and good tour through all the beautiful facets of uyuni you should book here! The guide was very friendly, he always took our wishes into account. We speak quiet good spanish so that made it easy to get information about the places.
The lady who brought us to the company was very sweet, she helped us with finding a hostel the first night we arrived, showed us the plaza, the bank...

Numerous reasons why I recommend everyone to AVOID this company to visit the salt flats and lagoons:
1) Got told we had a guide, this turned into being just a driver who at most attractions we visited fell asleep and gave little to no explanation of where we were or it’s history.
2) Rushed the group at every attraction and lunch only to arrive at the overnight accommodation really early.
3) On day 2 the driver informed the group he wasn’t allowed to return to Uyuni because of elections. Then to change his mind when we all complained.
4) Day 3, tried to avoid giving people lifts back by asking every other tour company to give us a lift. One agreed but only to a certain town for lunch. When the driver met us back at this he said wait here for a minute I just need to vote. After waiting over an hour the other companies tour guide drove us to the voting hall where our guide was nowhere to be seen and he offered to drive us back to Uyuni for no extra charge. As he realised the bad situation our guide had left us in.
5) Our guide caught us up and we ended up doing the last hour back to Uyuni with him only to find that he was falling asleep at the wheel whilst driving.
