The Citadel is majestic from the outside, but doesn’t offer much in the interior. Anyway, ir’s worth entering to admire the pavement work of the mason stoners around the inside of the walls. There´s also a room that reproduces a historic scene and in one...More

The citadel was built at the end of XVIII century and used to be a king's residence and a prison later on. I would not recommend to go inside. It looks better from outside. The area around the Castle is the favorite place for an...More

The park surrounding the Citadel was nicely kept. We actually took more photos outside than inside the citadel. It was interesting to know why one of the tower is tilted. Its quiet empty inside the walled palace except the bath house for the royals.

Having seen similar sites around middle east, the Arg was not such a wow. Costs 200k and it is only worth the bath section, as the rest is not anything special.

Amazing from the outside. Did not enter, but it is such a nice site in Shiraz. Place is clean, park around perfect to enjoy your ice-cream or drink. Many people (younger ones) will approach you and talk to you. Be free to talk.

Arg-e Karimkha (Karimkhan citadel) or even Karimkhan prison all are the name of this beautiful place. This is one of the great historical places of Shiraz. You can also eat "Falodeh" Or Icecream near this building which is great experience you can try in Shiraz.
