I felt this place epitomises the heart and soul of Iran. Our guide read some of the poetry which is beside the beloved tomb.....exquisite and touching.

Nice monument, but other than that it's not all that interesting. Entrance fee would be better spent looking at other sites in Shiraz.

The Saadi, is the poet and mystic of the 13th century. His marble tomb dates from 1860s, a shaped building, the walls inscribed with saadi work in tile. There is an underground pool that people throw coins and make a wish.

Beautiful garden for one the most Iranian poet. Designed with fantastic architecture and his beautiful poem. You can find his biography there. For me it was full of calmness and positive energy. Even you can enjoy to walk through the trees or sitting on there.

Saadi Shirazi was one of the major Persian poets and literary men of the medieval period. He is not only famous in the Persian-speaking countries, but has been quoted in western sources as well.
