There are no words to adequately describe the Hall. Acquired by the present owners in 1997 as an empty Victorian Gothic shell, they have filled it with the odd, the beautiful and the downright quirky. Every one of the fifty two rooms is differently themed,...More

We went to Abbey Cwm Hir with a group and to be honest we were going to duck out of this excursion as we thought it too expensive. We were so glad we didn't. Paul was an excellent and entertaining guide who had us all...More

The most fascinating and interesting home I've ever visited- all rooms were different and the owner made the tour so interesting . You need to book before you arrive so as not to be disappointed. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic house. Stuffed to the rafters with a fantastically imaginative collection of belongings from stuffed animals to priceless china. I have never enjoyed a day out quite so much. We can recommend this wholeheartedly. We aim to revisit for the Christmas themed rooms.

I think not easily. There are a lot of stairs and no lift. If you telephone the owners, they will be happy to advise.
