Try this walk from Llanbedr then back to Barmouth. Steep climb at the start but the views make up for this. Stunning scenery. Approx 6 mile walk which can be taken at a gentle pace to enjoy the views.

Walk to Llanaber and walk back to Barmouth 6.3 miles. Very steep long climb to start but the views are worth it. Just follow the footpath signs and track back to Barmouth harbour

Truly beautiful views and nice not to hear constant hum of traffic. But sadly I was plagued by midges and have the bites to prove it! Wear insect repellent if going in the cool of the evening and enjoy.

Not necessarily easy to find the paths from the town leading up to the Panorama Walk, but well worth persevering. On a clear day the views of Barmouth railway bridge below and the river estuary are stunning.

After trying the orange route on a map we found, I would suggest parking on a layby to the right as you come into barmouth, at the start of Orieton woods. These are beautiful and although a fair climb you walk next to a stream...More

Walked on a lovely autumn day - fantastic views over the mountains and the sea. We did the extended walk that was about 6 miles and very steep in section!

After a steady half hour walk (might be slippery when wet) you will be presented with not only the best view in Wales, but possibly the UK. If the sun is shining (afternoon is best) you will be presented with a "panorama" of the Mawddach...More

If you like walking and stunning views then come here. Weather does need to be fine to really appreciate the walk.

There are several routes, all very steep. The weather can change quickly, from being sunny to fog and rain. But once at the top, great views across Barmouth and the sea.

This is a walk you have to work at. Initially due to the wooded areas you walk through there is no panorama to speak of. It only becomes apparent at the end of this walk why it's called the Panorama Walk. At the end you...More

Yes, it's fine for children but just keep them with you, there are steep drops in places at the top. The views are fabulous, don't forget your camera! Regards
