this was just across the way from where we stayed and we walked all the way down to the train station stop, we had two kiddies with us but we did a good amount of the walk and it really was amazing!!

Access via left turn up opposite the Barmouth bridge driving out towards Dolgellau, parking after a mile or so, entrance gate is marked for the walk. Terrific views without too much effort, must pick your weather window of course, a longer walk can be had...More

It's a climb up to here, but well worth it for the amazing views of the beautiful estuary. A place at the top to spend time taking in the views.

Great walk from Barmouth with breath-taking views of the estuary and back down over the town. Plenty of benches along the way for rest stops and I think it would have been nice to have taken a picnic.

Try this walk from Llanbedr then back to Barmouth. Steep climb at the start but the views make up for this. Stunning scenery. Approx 6 mile walk which can be taken at a gentle pace to enjoy the views.

Walk to Llanaber and walk back to Barmouth 6.3 miles. Very steep long climb to start but the views are worth it. Just follow the footpath signs and track back to Barmouth harbour

Truly beautiful views and nice not to hear constant hum of traffic. But sadly I was plagued by midges and have the bites to prove it! Wear insect repellent if going in the cool of the evening and enjoy.

Not necessarily easy to find the paths from the town leading up to the Panorama Walk, but well worth persevering. On a clear day the views of Barmouth railway bridge below and the river estuary are stunning.

Yes, it's fine for children but just keep them with you, there are steep drops in places at the top. The views are fabulous, don't forget your camera! Regards
