Went for a lovely boat trip on 'Emily'. The captain was so interesting and informative and we were intrigued to see 'the sleeping giant'.

My girls love the boat trip over to fairbourne to explore the beach and walks to take in the beautiful scenery.

Took two teenage sons. None of us had any experience of fishing but given all equipment and managed to come back with a few mackerel. Really good afternoon and felt very safe.More

On a busy hot day Barmouth gets grid-locked. We have walked across the bridge but for May bank holiday we tried the ferry from Fairbourne. Limited parking and £2.50 return pp on Ferry, but a great way to cross over to Barmouth & avoid the...More

We did the short ferry across the bay to Fairbourne. The boatman was very friendly and helpful on the outward trip. We usually go for quiet holidays but this trip had a tinge of adventure because the guy did not return.I'd like to say I...More
