Spent a lovely day at Abbey and Village. Pity that cars are allowed in centre of village. Abbey full of surprises. Grounds well kept and easy for people who need flat paths. Well worth a visit.

Well preserved nunnery with some good explanations. The upper floors showing the family home and its history were very interesting and the room guides very knowledgeable. Pleasant gardens to wander round.

I have no knowledge of this incident. I am sure this should be dealt with by The National Trust.
