We are so glad you enjoyed your visit to the Electric Palace. The cinema is now closed for some months for major restoration work. Some events will be held in other venues. Please see the website for the Bioscope on the Green programme.
Looking for something to do we went to Harwich and stumbled upon this historic and interesting cinema just as a film was about to start. How nostalgic to pay a lady in a booth outside the entrance, sliding ones money over under the glass window....More
We went to see a film whilst visiting Harwich - the building has been restored to it's former glory inside and out, we also noticed that they also have live music events as well so it had a friendly local feel to it.
Comfy , reasonably priced ( cheap compared to London), current films and you can have a drink and an ice cream but you are sitting in and surrounded by history , awesome! Support this wonderful cinema .....NOW please.
We recently went to watch Paddington 2 with my mother in law along with 4 under 6’s.
Price is really good and there’s also a little shop in there.
The only downfall we found that it’s very cold in there, we all kept our coats...More
