What a great place! You’ll need the postcode to find it, & it doesn’t look much from the outside, but inside is a massive amount to see and stuff to do. They are a friendly, helpful & knowledgable bunch. Offer good refreshments & facilities for...More

We passed the signs for this 'gem' at the end of their road - one spontaneous u-turn later and we found ourselves, including our 11-year old WWII aficionado, immersed in the history of the bravery and courage of the US airborne forces of the 101st...More

Friendly welcoming staff. Excellent tour around the airfields, very informative and bought it back to life. Lovely little heritage centre, well laid out with great pictures and memorabilia. Excellent tea and homemade cakes. worth a visit if this is your sort of thing.

On a return visit I was disappointed to see that everything had changed. It had been refurbished, repainted (wrong colours, I believe) and seemed to be lacking in original artifacts (lots of reproduction items). Shame, it used to be so much better 😟More

I'm sorry you feel that way but we have focussed on the actual history of the time, mostly around D-Day. The only reproduction items are uniform and even some of that is original. The colours were sourced and researched and match the BS standard given...More
