One of the best sights in Enna. Interesting architecture and some beautiful church furniture but little beyond that for most tourists.

Wonderful church, with lovely wooden ceiling and a very solemn atmosphere. The opulent altar, the stone work and arches are a sight to behold.

We entered this beautiful Duomo and inside is very beautful and worth seeing. I recommend it to historians and who loves Churches and History.

An English written piece is available upon entry which gives a very brief history of the church. The church was built in 1307 and after a fire, the rebuilding lasted into the 17th century. It was designated by UNESCO in 2008.

Fabulous paintings and an amazing wooden carved ceiling. Lovely calm ambience. Recommend highly. We visited post wedding and it was lovely to see the scattered white rose petals everywhere.

Realy interesting church. Don't miss if You are at Enna - it is a "must see". The arhitecture is quite different.

I would recommend visiting this lovely town. It's only 45 minutes from Catania. Don't attend the festival unless you like crowds

Be aware opening times, it was closed between about 12.30 and 3.30 but I caught it as it opened and it is a lovely church, worth a look. Special visit? maybe not, but if you are passing pop in.

Thank Jimvin
