This monastery is one of several in this incredible area. A must see. Be prepared to do some walking on cobblestone. Absolutely lovely.

We spent afull day and visited most of the monasteries. Each had its own flavor and offerings. My recommendation is to visit them all. Photographers will be in heaven.

The first monastery we visited and it was awesome. Just take your time and stop for photos and you will make it. Take a sarong for a skirt and wear sleeves. Go early before the heat f the day.
