Good collection on western art, landscapes and bronze. Downstairs has a wonderful recreation of life in the early years of the town.

We visited the Desert Caballeros Museum primarily to see some Steve Getzwiller's extensive collection of Navajo rugs...and it was well worth it. Charles Russell, Bierstadt, Moran, Remington ... who expected to find these classic western artists in a relatively small museum in a relatively small town? This gem of a museum is well worth a stop on your way between Phoenix and Las Vegas, or anywhere that...More

I hope the title wasn't misleading, but only because I didn't expect the museum to be bad, it was just even better than I thought it was going to be! I would especially recommend checking out the Frederic Remington bronzes. They are quite impressive.
