The Scottsdale Main Street Arts District has fun street art and a panoply of art, antique, and collectibles shops. Our experience was that the shopkeepers were extremely friendly and helpful. Some art stores can be off putting or rude but we did not find that...More

There are some very good galleries in Old Town and a large number of fairly average tourist shops as well. It is an interesting area and worth a visit.

Large number and variety of galleries within a few blocks walk. Got to appreciate diverse variety of genres, prices, etc. More than one gallery had welcoming staff/owners that explained and described pieces and their creators.

On a usual Thursday in October the majority of shoppes/Galleries were closed at 11 am. Strange. Perhaps this is a weekend activity? The few galleries that were open were nice and the proprietors friendly.

Go on a Thursday evening for the Art walk! It isn't all western either, there is usually something for every art taste.

We enjoyed walking through this district - particularly admiring the statues and galleries. Pleasant evening stroll in the heat of summer.

I have been here before but I don't remember it being so nice. Walk at night when the lights are on, it is very pretty.

There is an art walk along Main on Thursday nights (not so in the hotter summer months). Most of the galleries are open there, in addition to restaurants and bars.
