This location is passed when driving the cross-island road. Its one of the few sights that are free to see, being visible from a small carpark off of the road. It's an impressive waterfall, with a spectacular view, however the location is let down by...More
Unfortunately there had been no serious rain for about a month according to our guide, so the waterfall was not much more than a trickle. However, the setting was nice , and had there been more water in the river, then it would have been...More
If you drive from Apia on the Cross Island Road to the other side of the island where most of the tourist attractions are, this is a place where you will pass. Worth taking a stop and look at the waterfall. Quite magical but nothing...More
From the moment you pull up you notice a rather horrible smell of garbage and something like raw sewage.
The area is covered in garbage and with the weeds growing high it is very difficult to get a decent photo of the falls and the...More
Waterfall is nice but it could be better if you were able to get closer. Flew my drone over and got some amazing shots. There was a bit of rubbish in the carpark and viewing area which and there was a few of stray dogs...More
The waterfall is one of a few on the Cross Road Island. The most impressive one though hard to get close to and best seen in the morning; in the afternoon the sun shines over it so it's hard to get pictures or see clearly....More

Interestingly, there are two waterfalls on the cross Island roads. This one is drive up and view or you can walk to the top of the falls if you have someone who can show you. If you are a total adventurer nutto you can attempt the climb down, As its almost vertical you wont take long but you have to be sure you can get back out. (Yes I have done it, only once!) Other option is to walk down the stream to the sea.
The other, almost identical waterfall is on the other cross island road towards Lalomanu. Again a short walk.
