A place to put on your list to visit. I enjoy the walkthrough of this market as one side you have local produce and the other local art pieces and attire. The people in the market was some of the friendliest people you will meet, their genuine smiles and willingness to share their talent through arts and craft & souvenirs for tourist.

We visited on a hot day so the fact this market is covered is a blessing. Samoan shirts were WST50 compared to triple that in tourist shops. Lots of trinkets and fresh fruit and vegetables too. We used a Freddie’s taxi from there to Tauamesina Resort for WST6

Such a nice place to buy whatever you want. Here you can find a lot of typical Samoan dresses, jewels, bags, fruits, veggie, magnets. Not far away from here there is a fish market open only in the morning where you can buy really nice fresh fish to make some sashimi. If you are in Apia, just go there.

This is a great market with stalls selling everything from produce (of every kind!) to wood carvings, clothing and everything in between. We felt the this market is better than the flea market near the waterfront. It also offered more to look at than just souvenirs! The large roof overhead provides nice shade, and a steady breeze blows thru the structure. But if you get too hot, just visit one of the guys selling coconuts and they will open it up for you right away for a cool, refreshing drink!
