The lady met us at the entrance fale and explained us the whole story of the place. She was lovely, and really informative. It’s worth a visit! (10-20minutes)

We saw some lava fields on the other island of Samoa which look similar to this one. Tho the lava flowing into the church is pretty cool. Doesn't take long to check out the grave and the church, but for just 10 tala each I...More

There's a little house with some information about the Lava Fields which was neat and helpful! A woman escorted us through and relayed the story of what happened, it was so sunny she even got an umbrella for us to use - what great service!

The lava fields are an amazing part of Samoan history and hauntingly beautiful. We had a lovely guide who shared the rich history of this place, taking us to the church and the virgin grave. The lava flow itself is intetesting to look at with...More

I found this really interesting...only cost 5 tala and the girl told us lots about the stories of the lava field and the virgins grave. I thought it was a great attraction.

Pretty amazing to see natures work. And the Virginia grave is unreal how it didn't get covered over! One of those things you must see.

We loved the lava fields. During our visit we found out the women's committee they run the place. This means maintaining a massive area! Cleaning up rubbish cutting back and clearing the ever encroaching rain forest. The team of women do this all for free....More

We really loved this. I had NO expectation of this and was pleasantly surprised. The lovely lady who showed us was really kind and told the info really well. The way the lava flowed through the church is phenomenal and the fact that the tin...More

Shouldn't miss this. It was interesting and worth about a 20-30 minute stop. It gets hot there, bring water with you. Also complain about how the village throws their garbage into the lava holes and vents. Very icky. Maybe they will clean it up if...More
