CAF is an operating museum with an excellent selection of vintage planes from WW 1 through Vietnam. Some are static displays but many are available for rides on weekends. The B-17 and Texan are especially impressive. If docent Bob is available, you are in for...More

Great place. Very informative. Kids get to crawl around inside of planes. Can take your time. Plans are inside under roof.

Tons of volunteers & veterans sharing stories and explaining the aircraft and their impacts during service. Beautiful facility with surprising access to the insides of many of the planes and into the maintenance areas outside. Great visit!

Small but really nice place to visit if you enjoy restored aircraft. If you are in the Phoenix area and like things like this you will enjoy the museum.

Great collection carefully curated and interpreted by knowledgeable docents. Walk around close up and even into several exhibited aircraft. Impressive to a range of ages. Worth a couple of hours at least and more if you read the placards, and watch the many videos.
