We were at the Square on a Sunday, very quiet, and businesses were shut down except for the restaurants,but cuisine was good. The part was active with sellers.

On one side of the main square this church built during the time of the Templars is simple but beautiful inside. You can take photos but no flash.

S. João Batista Church is located in the main square of the town, in front of the Town Hall and a statue of Gualdim Paes. The inside of the church is very beautiful. Loved the outside clock on the tower.
