It is very interesting to find those few traces of Judaism in Portugal where once more than 30% of the population were Jewish.this tiny synagogue has been restored to its finest and within a few days I was told also the adjacent Mikva will be opened which right now can be seen

Only one small room, very little on display, and also little information available in English. The receptionist also seemed mildly annoyed that we were visiting. Good news - it's free.
