This is a very small museum which is not well advertised. We quietly tiptoed in as we thought that no one was about. Everything was written in Portuguese but you could work out the 'gist' of the exhibits. There is an upstairs where we bumped into a lady painting a canvas. It was…

Not much better than the last time that I popped in here to have a look around, the person behind the desk did not seem interested, still no explanation of the exhibits in English but saying that upstairs was a exhibition of "cubism" which was in English.

Museu Municipal de Olhao has a small collection of mainly Roman artifacts together with maps and information about the history of the area; unfortunately all in Portuguese. Also has an art exhibition. Free entrance.
