Pleasant but expensive
Beautiful surroundings but wine is expensive in general comparison. Tapas wasn’t worth the money, plenty of it but didn’t taste great

Oozing With Culture!
The test of any visit is if you'd like to go back. I, most certainly, would and to be there for one of the market days, concerts or any aspect of Portugal's culture! Set in stunning scenery, and after a circuitous route, it's a MUST!

Cultural shows
Sociedade Recreativa Olhanense is in an old building on the main Avenida Republica. The civic centre holds cultural shows, currently Flamenco and dancing.

Excellent traditional concert
Wonderful concert of traditional Fado music for €5! The Sociedade may look a little run down but is a hotbed of culture and interesting art projects. Check it out.
