Visited as a "date night" when grandparents were kind enough to look after the kids. Very welcoming venue. Relaxed and informal yet attentive without being "in your face". Very well stocked and a wide range of excellent cocktails. We could recommend most 😂 The owner speaks excellent English although seemed to appreciate it when we spoke incredibly limited Portuguese (please/thank you etc). He recognized us on a later visit and remembered conversation. Smashing little bar in a beautiful village.

Fab little find tucked down the street to the beach. Always helpful and friendly with the best cocktails I have had . Well worth coming in - small and intimate with good music and hard working staff x

Excellent bar run by the fantastic Ivo and Eliete. Very clean, well-kept and great music to accompany the wide variety of drinks on offer. We've been 'regulars' here for many years, and will be back next time too.

Lovely little bar, plenty of choice and owner/Barman nice and friendly. Would recommend. Sports TV tends to be on (sound muted) but also has a good choice of music playing.

Visited this bar several times great cocktails for €6.:00 and always a cocktail of the day for around €4:50. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We will be back a few more times before we leave

Eliete & Evo were brilliant hosts very friendly and couldn't thank you enough for there custom. They would call a taxi for you to make sure you got home safely. Mainly british you will tend to find in this bar with your up to date chart music which gave a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend coming to this bar you will not be disappointed perfect for couples or families as it doesn't get rowdy.

My wife was the youngest person in there, by a long way, but clean and comfy. Service was fine. Justin Timberlake over the speakers and most of the patrons well into retirement.

Many bars are now firmly designed for the younger drinkers, no problem with this, but some older travellers are looking for a more relaxed and calmer atmosphere,
Pielas Bar offers this in the bucket loads.
The owner and his wife have created a very comfortable bar in which you can enjoy great cocktails, excellents spirits, beers or non alcoholic drinks, along with great coffee and the big treat of a chocolate on the side.
The music is great and varied, but not overly loud or intrusive, therefore conversations are easy and you won't lose you voice, screaming to be heard.
Good all year round and open until late, so a good place to stop off at before dinner or afterwards for a nightcap or 2, before heading home.
Pielas Bar offers this in the bucket loads.

Been coming here for 25 years and now on to the 3rd generation of our family we love it more and more! Best cocktails (can not get a Bloody Mary this good anywhere in the world!). Place is immaculately clean and Ivo and Elliete are very welcoming. Roll on next year!

Lovely bar with gorgeous cocktails....sampled all the menu at this stage! We meet the same people year after year in Pielas and Ivo and Eliete are so welcoming and helpful! Drinking there 15 years and would not drink anywhere else!
