10 out of 10 for Heine (KPS Safari's) from my first contact, 8 months prior to our trip Heine was fantastic. Communication was prompt, giving us answers and suggestions to put our upcoming trip into motion. Once we had finalised our trip and committed, Heine stayed in touch sending us video's and pictures. We (a group of 4 couples) met Heine outside Kruger where he took us shopping to get our "supplies", before piling into his safari truck beginning a 5 hour trip up to Shingwedzi Rest Camp. We saw so many amazing animals in our first few hours, later in the afternoon Heine opened his coolbox to our surprise it was filled with all our favourite bevies, he had done his homework, and we arrived at the restcamp with only minutes to spare before it was locked. The next day we were up and ready at 5.30 am, heading to Letaba rest camp for 2 nights and then 2 nights at Skukuza. We had daily breakfasts on the go which we loved, it was generally on a bridge and prepared by Heine, rusks, coffee and fruit. The animal sightings were amazing, everyday we started at dawn and got back to our rest camps as they were closing, even though the days were long Heine made sure we saw absolutely everything possible which we loved. His knowledge of the animals is amazing, and it was never a problem answering our questions or explaining about the animals. We had lunch at other rest camps and roadside stops and every afternoon that cool box was ready with our bevies to get us through the last couple of hours. Our sightings were fantastic, we saw a leopard up a tree with its a kill, a group of lions setting up and trying for a kill, a lion ran within metres from our truck chasing zebra and wildebeest. The hippos were adorable, we could sit and watch them for ages. We had close encounters with hyena's, vultures, zebra, elephants, giraffes, wild dogs, many types of antelope and crocodiles. We spotted many different species of birds and were forever bugging Heine for his "bird book" to work out which one it was! We took off road tracks alot, bumping along looking for, and finding animals. Every day was exciting, we saw another leopard sitting on the side of the road and even a cheetah close up. I highly recommend Heine Thom from KPS Safari's, he is a beautiful person, nothing is a problem, he knows Kruger and the animals so well, and he knows how to get as much out a of day as possible.

From our first contact, eight months prior to your trip, it was a pleasure assisting you in planning and organizing your safari. I'm glad that my prompt communication, along with the answers and suggestions provided, helped set your trip into motion and build anticipation.
I'm thrilled to hear that you appreciated the videos and pictures I sent during the planning phase. It was my way of sharing the excitement and beauty of Kruger National Park with you before your arrival.
The shopping trip to gather supplies and the five-hour journey up to Shingwedzi Rest Camp was a great way to start our adventure together. I'm delighted that the surprise of finding your favourite beverages in the cool box brought a smile to your faces. It's all part of the preparation and personalization to ensure your comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip.
Waking up early at 5:30 am and heading to Letaba Rest Camp for two nights and then two nights at Skukuza allowed us to make the most of our time in Kruger. The daily breakfasts on the go, packed with rusks, coffee, and fruit, on a bridge surrounded by nature, were truly special moments. I'm glad you loved them as much as I enjoyed preparing them for you.
It brings me great joy to hear that the animal sightings were amazing and that we managed to maximize your opportunities to observe the wildlife. Starting at dawn and returning to the rest camps just as they were closing ensured that you didn't miss a single moment. I'm humbled by your kind words about my knowledge of the animals and my willingness to answer your questions and share information.
The lunches at other rest camps and roadside stops provided us with the necessary fuel to continue our adventures. And of course, the cool box filled with your favourite beverages for the last few hours of the day was a small touch to keep you refreshed and satisfied.
The variety of wildlife sightings you described is truly extraordinary. From leopards and lions to hippos, hyenas, giraffes, and even a cheetah close up, it seems like we encountered a plethora of magnificent creatures. Exploring gravel tracks together and spotting different bird species added an extra level of excitement and curiosity to our journey.
Lastly, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your recommendation. It means the world to me. I strive to provide an unforgettable experience, and your kind words reaffirm that I'm on the right path. We had the privilege of being part of a group of four friends visiting the Kruger National Park for three individual full day safaris over the course of a week.
First and foremost, discuss with the KPS team the best options for making the most of your trip, it would probably be best to book accommodation within the Kruger Park to avoid restrictions on day visitors (e.g. entry and exit times.
KPS operate a good, spacious safari vehicle that would accommodate six people comfortably with room for camera equipment etc.
Our safaris were conducted by Hein and Donald very professionally. They have e collent knowledge if the park and it’s inhabitants and take care to plan for stops out of the vehicle to stretch your legs or enjoy sumptuous breakfast and lunch breaks!
Depending on the time of year, expectations on safari need to be managed, the dense bush in March makes finding animals a challenge. Hein and Donald did a great job ultimately allowing us to see four of the Big Five, with a huge bonus of two sightings (on different days) of a large pack of wild dogs a particularly special treat for us.
Highly recommended!

Pick up at the Lodge and then a full day (means 11h) inside the park. We saw a lot of wildlife and the atmosphere was really great on that day. The guide knew everything about the animals we wanted to know and gave us lots of information.
The car was comfortable, clean and perfect for a safari day. Communication before the tour via Whatsapp with Heine very good and he did everything to organize my days here in Hoedspruit.
I can highly recommend this tour agency.

We can only recommend the safari with Heine! Everything was perfectly organized and food and drinks were always provided along the way. He has a great deal of knowledge about the many different animals and was able to tell us a lot. He made every effort to ensure that we could see everything we wanted.

A truly breathtaking safari! We spent two days (one overnight stay) in Kruger Park and saw almost everything from elephants to buffalo to lions and hyenas. Our guide was very friendly and competent and took us to various deserted places where we were able to observe countless animals.

We had the pleasure of experiencing a 2-day safari in the Kruger National Park with the amazing guide Heine and it was simply amazing!
Heine is not only an extremely knowledgeable and experienced guide, but also passionate about introducing us to the amazing wildlife of the Kruger National Park.
The tour was very well organized and Heine made sure we had the best spots to view the stunning wildlife. He was always willing to share his knowledge with us and answer all of our questions. We could see that he is passionate about what he does.
The accommodation and food during the safari were also first class. Heine fulfilled all of our wishes and was available to help us in every situation.

This was an awesome trip. Truely enjoyed our 2 day experience getting to see all the animals up close was amazing. Our tour guide Hein was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience one of a kind. Definitely recommend if your going to South Africa you cannot miss out on this.

The tour of Kruger Park with Heine was a unique experience that I will never forget. Heine is a great guide who not only knows a lot about the animals, but is also always in a good mood and has a lot of fun on the tours himself.

It was an amazing experience. Our guide was very friendly and told us so much. He told us fun factuur abortus the animals and answered all of our questions. We saw a lot of animals and had so many time to experience it all. We took different routes and got to see a lot of the park itself

Dear Heine,
Thanks for your tour! It was really fantastic! Leopard, badger, Tsebe, fox, really unreal that we have seen rare animals. And then the Buffalo herd with over 300 animals - madness! Also the supply of snacks and drinks was great, as was the overnight stay at the camp. Despite a short night I had a very good sleep!

I used the KPS service on Sunday the 7th of April, from Hoedspruit to Johannesburg. The incredible service started when my lift to the pick up was late, Heine immediately hoped in another vehicle and quickly came and fetched us. It was far from the pick up point, but too far to walk with luggage. After the wonderful trip, the amazing bus with free Wifi and phone charging point, not mention the complimentary healthy snack and bottled water, i left my wallet in the vehicle. After calling Heine again, he quickly got in touch with Jeremy, our driver, who met us at the Gautrain station in Sandton to return the wallet. What could have been a very disastrous trip turned into an absolutely amazing experience. I cannot recommend Heine,his team and the shuttle service highly enough. What a wonderful experience in customer service and going the extra mile.
