Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We decided to drive through the park as we left Timaru. There are plenty of walking tracks in this long green park, along with mountain bike tracks. Infact there was a mountain bike event runnung in the park as we drove through.

Loved this park with a combination of casual walks and rides plus informal planting. A great use of a gully. Even the drive through is worth it. Would be great to bring children as well.

It still seems like Centennial Park is a secret - even to locals. There is so much space here and the green, well kept parks are superb for walkers, joggers and bikers. There's something fr everyone here.

We had a drive through here, and really enjoyed the suspension bridge at thd begining. Lots of place to pull over and enjoy or talk a walk or mountain bike ride. Great park land.

Take some time out of the hectic day and visit this park. I grabbed some fish n chips and took the grandkids for an evening visit. Walked in the trees, sat and enjoyed the peace. There is a play ground too.

This is an interesting suburban park - a long stretch of wilderness that follows up along the valley of a stream. You can drive the length of it, but there are also walking and biking trails, and special sights to see along the way. There is a new swing bridge at the eastern end. A good place for a picnic or walking the dog!

This park is huge and has something for everyone. There is lots of biking trails and a mountain bike course. There are duck ponds for the kids with safe playing areas. You don't need to spend money in Timaru to enjoy yourself. They even have BBQ's to cook your food on. Go down and give it a try you will not be dissapointed or out of pocket.

This is a really big park. Right in the centre of town. Its brilliant. My kids may not like it as there is no playground but the adults enjoyed it because there was this big feeling of space
