Ben and Rebecca own and operate Mountain Bike Station. Our aim is to help make your Mountains to Sea Cycle Trail Planning easy. Let us know the dates you want to ride the trail, how many days you want to ride and a few details about your group, and we will book your accommodation, meals, and all your transport logistics throughout the trail. We love to help riders explore our region, and support you throughout the ride, to ensure the ride works for you.

We have just finished the Mountain to sea five day bike ride there were nine of us. Ben solved every problem and was always there on time with a smile. The trip was great value for money, yummy meals at all accomodation. The trip was a real adventure, lots of biking some canoeing and some jet boating. When some of the females changed their minds about riding the difficult day, Ben came up with a different trip which was a lot of fun and we still got to see the bridge to nowhere. If you want to have a bike with friends or family and have all your problems taken care of book with Ben and Rebecca.

Fantastic biking adventure - just the right amount of difficulty with lots of variety, stunning scenery and adventure. Ben and Rebecca are fabulous hosts, everything was very well organised in a lovely relaxed manner. The accommodation and food are excellent!! Highly recommended!!

Ben, Rebecca and Trevor just awesome. Well looked after and whole 5 days just slotted together perfectly. Unique accomodation at Ruatiti Hunting Lodge, Bridge to Nowhere and Flying Fox made trip special. Recommend the canoeing in a double canoe for marriage guidance “ just paddle” and going down rspid backwards was fun. If looking for an excellent adventure with some exercise and no hassles, then this us for you.

Ben and Rebecca were outstanding in their dedication to making our trip seamless, comfortable, and without problem.
We were 8 septuagenarians from Oz and we did the Mountains to the Sea trip on E-bikes. Loved it - fascinating and wild country, and the riding trails mostly pretty good. The third day (the Mangapurua to Bridge To Nowhere track) is the more challenging section and had a few of our group opt out, but I enjoyed it the best. It has a lot of variation, remoteness++, history (well explained by signage) and beauty.
Ben provided alternate options for those who preferred to miss that bit - he is very particular that everyone has a great experience.
The food and accommodation were a great improvement on our various earlier life self-catering experiences. Despite all the exercise we put on weight !

Loved the scenery and accommodation. Ben and his team were amazing, nothing was a hassle for them and the hospitality at the Bridge to Nowhere Lodge was awesome. We were made to feel right at home. Even the rain didn’t ruin our trip. Well worth every cent.

Favourite parts of our trip was the ride to Ruatiti and staying at the Hunting Lodge which was superb accommodation and meals. Also the trip to Bridge to Nowhere Lodge is a must. Due to the large amount of rain we couldn't ride the track on from Ruatiti, so they organised a jet boat trip from Pipiriki up the river and a 40min walk to the Bridge to Nowhere.

The best part was Ben and Rebecca and their crew who were helping us every leg to stay safe and always clear instructions .. not to mention good coffee and champers in unexpected places. Great history learnt a lot along the way and feel fit and energised afterwards. Thank you for sharing your special corner of NZ!!

Joined Ben and his team for a five day organised bike trip Mountain to sea. Ben arranged the accommodation along the cycle route, transported our luggage to each of the lodges, ensured we had all the relevant supplies/equipment for the bike trails. He was always cheery, booked wonderful accommodation for us, organised bike hire. The scenery and bike trails were fabulous, great coffee stops along the way-would definitely recommend this trip with Mountain Bike Station.

Ben organised a Mountains to Sea Cycle for our group of 7.
The trip was so well organised with very manageable chunks each day, great places to stay, and wonderful food.
We were looked after so well -Ben's instructions were clear, our gear was shuttled efficiently, the trip went without a hitch. Additionally Ben was always cheerful and accommodating, even providing yummy morning teas when we least expected it.
Excellent value for money.
We all racked our brains to think of how the experience could be improved - it was a wonderful ride and showcased such a unique and special part of New Zealand.
We are very grateful for the opportunity.
