This place is big enough to do interactive games with families and friends. A very nice place to relax and have picnic. There's also a spot for swimming. Basically, you can do anything at this park that's good for all ages.

Gym equipment for adults, play equipment for children, bbqs, picnic spaces. Colourful interesting information on the vege growing history of the area and also on the vegetables. This is a work in progress and what we saw today was of superb quality.

Great park for everyone - don't forget to bring your bike. This time we stopped we saw that a confidence course is being added as well - looks great. The plantings are beautiful & they have added river access, which is fantastic. Well worth a visit to Ohakune just to go to the park.

I can see why this park won an award in 2019. The facilities here are amazing with gym equipment to obstacle course and attractive facilities for young children. There's also a picnic/BBQ area as well. It is quite popular with locals and visitors alike. We enjoyed taking photos with the different statutes of vegetables displayed. Of course one cannot walk past and not take a photo of the giant carrot at the front of the park. Well worth a visit.

A great family park that a lot of thought has gone into. Playground, gym equipment, confidence/obstacle track, BMX track, BBQ area, gardens, and a swimming hole all feature. Oh and the 'token' Ohakune Carrot!! A family could spend a lot of quality time here.

So cool. Spent 2 hours here and only left because the weather was cold. Kids really enjoyed it. Something for all ages here. To top it all off, this park was built by volunteers. A donation is coming your way!

We saw this online and decided to pop in on our way through Ohakune. A great fun park for the kids with the fun of the giant vegetables to give it a point of difference! The obstacle course is really fabulous and there is also an undercover outdoor gym, picnic area and toilets. Highly recommend.

so good! Heaps of cheesy photos in front of the big carrot, and all his friends.... the swede, brussel sprout and parsnip. Even got to ham it up in the Zoom Zoom Carrot Car. Definitely go - doesn't matter which age!

Fantastic park for kids and kids at heart. Well set out, great setting, good amenities, a gym area for adults, nice walks. Looks like its being expanded with confidence course/parkour course?

After a recommendation from the isite we walked there for something to do. It was a pleasant short walk through the bush and shrubs beside the stream.. It will be a great facility for families when it is finished. Well worth a visit now with plenty for kids to do..
