This 17th century convent has a lovely baroque facade. We did not go into the museum but enjoyed sitting and listening to the organ music.

This church was built around the birthplace of Santa Teresa. Lots about her early life. A must if you are doind the whole Santa Teresa visit.

If you are interested in St Teresa of Avila, you have to visit this church built over her birthplace. It has a small but interesting museum attached - with gift shop!

Interesting story behind St. Theresa of Avila. This convent was built around her home and has many vignettes depicting her early life in Avila. Also a bronze sculpture of her in front of the convent where some Catholics come to offer prayers.
